Day 139

Yesterday, mom went to a park with Filene and her raiser, we walked the one mile loop around the pond and we stopped to take some pictures! We also got to go out on this dock, it didn't move at all, but the surface was a little different. I had no issue walking on it! Nap time always follows a walk so I snuggled up with mom's pillow pet for a nice long nap.

Day 138

Mom made me homemade treats the other day! They are super yummy!! Mom put in the recipe if you want to make some too! I highly recommend them!!

Day 136

Mom let me meet her bunny Pavel tonight! I was a little excited, but I also did a great job at not getting too crazy and bugging him too much. He even let me sniff him! :) I hope I get to see him more!

Day 135

Today I had my first day of college! Mom only had one class so she took me, I did awesome! I slept through the whole class and I did really well walking through the school. Mom was very proud of how well I did and I can't wait for the Spring semester when I get to go every day!

Day 134

Tonight I had Puppy Class! First we practiced settle while we took turns "going through the airport". Then for the "airport" we had to wait while our raiser took of their shoes then we had this hula hoop put over us and then we had to walk through it, and then we heard the shoes go down this table and then we settled while everyone else got to go. Next we went down one hallway and we practiced sit, down, and stand. Then we walked a few steps and sat or walked a few steps and went down. Then we did sit, down, and stand inside a hoop. Last, we practiced back a little and I rocked it! Then we went down one more hallway and I had to stay with one person while mom walked down the hallway and went just a little around the corner and then she called me to come and I came right away! It was a fun Puppy Class, and now I am very tired, I also had a play date with Filene and G-lee before class! Good night!!

 

Day 133

Today is SPA DAY!!! Every Sunday mom cuts my nails, cleans my ears, brushes my teeth, and brushes my fur. I use to not like my nails to be cut, but I quickly learned that if I was a good girl I would get a little bit of peanut butter which I love so very much! Now I'm so relaxed that mom cradles me in between her legs and cuts my nails and I just lay there. I do sometimes try to chew on the handle of the clippers, but that's just because I'm a puppy and I do still like to chew things.... The tooth paste that mom uses tastes like chicken!!! And the brush shes uses to brush my fur is called a Rush Brush and feels nice on my skin. It's important that I'm good for this because my blind person will one day do this too so I need to stay nice and calm. It's also important for me to be OK with being touched everywhere because the blind person will feel all over me everyday to make sure I don't ever have any cuts or scrapes or anything like that. Spa Day is my favorite day of the week.
