Day 335

Happy 1st Birthday to my friend back home, Krista!! She and I have gone on several outings and had many play dates!

Day 334

Oh you know, it was just another perfect day to be at work at the BK! I got to go to the BDA 3 times and play in the Lower 40 four times! Now I'm very, very tired! Have a good night!

Day 333

So guys, I got a confession.... I like food, and I like it A LOT! Like so much so! I just can't contain my love for it! So lately mom has been working on me ignoring my kibble if she drops it as she gives it to me (because let's face it, she has bad aim at getting treats into my mouth...) so I've made some great progress! And mom is so proud of me! You see I'm smart, I know if I ignore a lousy piece of kibble, I get a super yummy high value reward!!!! Go me! Here are a few videos of me working on it :)

Day 332

Today mom, Lucky, and I get to babysit Teagan! She's an 8 week old German Shepherd and she is training to be a guide dog too! :) We went up to the BDA and then played at home before taking a nap!

Day 331

Today mom doesn't have to work until later tonight so, in the morning we went to the A&P to walk around. Lucky and I took turns getting to go out and explore the plaza. I was such a good girl on the walk and even got to go in to the A&P to pick up a few things. Later I went up to the BDA with Lucky, Connolly, and Heaven and then back at the GH I got to play outside with GEB Derry & Denise.

Day 330 - Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day!! Thank you to all the men and women who have served to protect the USA!

Today was another day at the kennel! I got to help mom make food for the dogs at the kennel, we played outside a LOT, and then it was time to nap in the office. :)

Day 329

Going to work every day with mom is great! I get to run in the BDA and the lower 40 (it's another fenced in area but not up in the woods) and I get to hang out in the office with the other staff dogs. But after a full day at the kennel, I'm wiped out!

Day 328

Well today was a great day! I got to play in the BDA in the morning with Connolly, Lucky, Rene, and Fala. Later I played in the yard with Ruthie, Thyme, Lucky, Paloma, and Teagan. And then in the evening I played with Derry, Denise, and Lucky in the BDA again! I guess it's nap time!!

Today Lucky and I got to play with retired brood Connolly! We also played after work with Broods Thyme & Ruthie and GEB Teagan!

Yesterday at the kennel I got to hang out with Kate (she's a retired brood), chew on some fun bones, and chase Maestro around! It was a good day!

Day 325

So our first few days at GEB have been pretty busy!!! I get to play with friends and go up into the BDA every day! I love it!

Today, mom had to help at IFTs so I hung out in a kennel in an office and I had a buddy, black lab Lexie. I was perfect in the kennel and didn't bark at all! Go me!!!

Now that I'm a year old mom is letting me sleep outside of my kennel on a regular basis.

Remember when I was at the sitter Saturday? Well she had her prom to go to and I got to be in a picture with her! I even work a crown!!

Day 322

Today mom, Lucky, and I drove to Guiding Eyes. We are staying here until September while mom works in the kennel! Me and Lucky were perfect while mom drove and we even got to stop and visit Halsa and her fosters again. I love visiting them!

Day 321

So I have this problem..... I love food. I mean I REALLY love food. So much so that mom says I'm the only lab she's every had that eats this fast! So..... in order to slow me down, mom bought me this "slow eater" bowl. And it works! It slowed me way down!

In about an hour mom is taking me to a puppy sitter's! I am spending the night at the sitter and mom will pick me up tomorrow night. So for now, here's a Flashback Friday picture of me last July. :)

Day 319

So first, today is my "sister" Dahlia's 5th birthday!!!

Now on to what I did today! In the morning mom and I went on a walk with mom's friend! It was hot, but fun! When we got home mom let me cool off in the kiddie pool.

In the evening we went to watch a parade! The town I live in has their festival this weekend and I got to go to the parade.
